The Process of Discovery
Yoga has been the foundation of and most important ingredient in my personal spiritual practice for many years.
What once started as a physical exercise - begun as a complement to my weight-lifting and running habits - quickly exploded into an insatiable thirst for ancient knowledge, a deep-seated desire to explore the outer edges of what I thought possible in both body and mind.
Who am I? Why am I here? These are questions I asked for the first time on my yoga mat, and that mat has held me in that process of discovery ever since.
I Practice and Teach:
Vinyasa
Hatha
Yin
Restorative
Stand-up Paddle-board Yoga.
(Gotta love Florida, right?)
My classes include:
Pranayama - working with and intimately getting to know our own breath
Asana - honoring the physical with focus on body awareness and anatomical alignment
And an exploration of Yogic, Hindu, and Buddhist philosophy.
